Allison Ruffing is a freelance writer, editor, and
media consultant who lives in Northwest
Indiana. She is currently hard at work on her
first novel.

Allison began her writing career at age 16,
penning a weekly "Teen Scene" column for The
Florida Times-Union. After graduating from
Eckerd College with a degree in Creative Writing
& Literature, she joined the staff of the
award-winning youth magazines Guideposts for
Kids and Guideposts Sweet 16.

After Sweet 16 ceased publication in 2007,
Allison began freelancing full-time. She writes,
edits, and manages web content for clients
